Accessibility
Koaura LIVING is designed to be readable, calm, and comfortable from the sofa. Choose the display that suits you, move at your own pace, and use the keyboard or touch controls that feel natural.
Four themes, your choice
Choose a display from the Display menu in the header. Your choice is saved on this device and used again the next time you visit.
Dark
Choose Dark from the Display menu for dark reading surfaces. Your choice is remembered on this device.
High Contrast
Pure black and white with bright accents and solid white borders for the strongest separation between text, surfaces, and edges. Soft shadows and the moving background layer are switched off entirely in this theme.
Light
Near-white reading surfaces with dark text and quieter accents, tuned for bright rooms and long reading. The decorative background runs as a faint whisper here so it never competes with the words.
Calm by default, calmer on request
If moving backgrounds are distracting, your device's reduced-motion setting keeps the page steady while you read and navigate.
- Choose reduced motion in your device settings and the background stays still while you read and move around the site.
- The mobile menu opens and closes without animation when reduced motion is on.
- High Contrast keeps the page still, with strong edges and clear separation between words and surfaces.
- Your display choice stays with you on this device, so the next visit feels familiar.
Keyboard-friendly navigation
On phones and tablets, the Menu button gives you a clear way to open the navigation with a keyboard or touch. Focus is handled for you as you move in and out.
- Open the mobile menu with Enter or Space, then use the links inside it to move around.
- Press Escape to close the menu and return to the Menu button.
- When the menu opens, focus moves to its first link so you always know where you are.
- Links and buttons have comfortable touch targets, including the Menu button on phones and tablets.
Contrast and focus
Clear separation and a visible keyboard focus ring help you see where you are as you read, choose, and move through the page.
- A visible focus ring is drawn around links, buttons, and inputs when you move through the page with the keyboard.
- High Contrast offers a black-and-white surface set with solid borders when you want the strongest possible separation.
- Body copy uses readable sizes with a clear heading hierarchy on every page.
- Instructions are written in words, never carried by decoration alone.
