1. Who We Are
Koaura Living is a TV-first consumer wellness and family-connection service operated by AIvantage Consulting Inc. ("Koaura Living," "we," "us"). AIvantage Consulting Inc. is the business and data controller that determines the purposes and means of processing personal information described in this Policy.
This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and delete information when you use Koaura Living websites, TV apps, mobile apps, backend services, subscription services, routine library features, family media features, guided stretching, Self View, Phone Live View, and Remote Helper features.
Koaura Living supports gentle wellness routines, household routines, and invited family connection. Koaura Living is not a medical device, clinical service, emergency service, diagnosis service, treatment service, monitoring service, physiotherapy service, and is not a replacement for professional care.

3. Where Koaura Living Is Offered
Koaura Living is intended for users in the United States. It is not directed to, and we do not knowingly offer it to, individuals in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
4. Scope
This Policy applies to Koaura Living public pages, account pages, TV apps, mobile apps, backend services, support workflows, subscription services, routine library features, family media features, device pairing, guided stretching, Self View, Phone Live View, and Remote Helper. Marketing pages may be viewed without signing in. Purchases, account pages, routine library access, paired-device views, subscription management, deletion requests, and support workflows may require sign-in with the same Google or Apple account used by Koaura Living.
5. Information We Collect
Account and sign-in data. Firebase Auth user ID, email address, display name, sign-in provider information from Google or Apple, account status, and profile records.
Household and subscription data. Household/group identifiers, role information, subscription plan, status, entitlement state, quota state, renewal/cancellation state, and related audit records. V1 paid plans are purchased on the web through Stripe Checkout; Stripe handles payment-card details. We store billing identifiers, subscription state, plan keys, entitlement state, and audit events needed to activate access, manage subscriptions, and resolve billing issues. We do not collect or store full payment-card numbers.
Device and pairing data. Device or install identifiers, device type, paired/approved device state, device presence and routing state, push-notification token references where needed, and device removal/expiry/tombstone state.
Routine and wellness activity. Routine pack identifiers, titles, duration, thumbnails, categories, access and delivery state, download state, Send-to-TV actions, quota usage, passive reminder settings, reminder interactions, and local TV cache status. When enabled, we may use foreground TV-app context for known video apps and remote-control/D-pad idle/activity signals to help detect long passive-watching sessions and time gentle wellness nudges. Koaura Living V1 is not designed to collect a broad inventory of all apps installed on your TV. See Section 7 for how we treat health-adjacent information.
User media and family content. If you use media transfer or family-media features, we may process photos, videos, thumbnails, metadata, storage paths, delivery metadata, and TV cache/download state that you choose to upload, transfer, or send to an approved TV. You are responsible for having the right to share the media you upload or transfer.
Guided stretching, Self View, Phone Live View, and Remote Helper. Session IDs, invite IDs, device roles, session state, approved participant/device state, quota usage, session limits, and connectivity records. Remote Helper connectivity may use a TURN provider to relay media when a direct device-to-device connection is unavailable; TURN usage may be logged for reliability, quota, and cost control. These features are for invited household connection — not medical monitoring. See Section 8 regarding biometrics.
Support, operations, security, and reliability. Support ID, user/household identifiers, request details, operator notes, entitlement-repair notes, audit history, webhook delivery logs, authentication and App Check signals, error records, reliability records, security signals, and cost-control records. Internal operations access is kept separate from the public website and limited to authorized operators.
Website and product usage. Basic usage information such as pages viewed, sign-in funnel state, checkout flow state, account flow state, and aggregate launch metrics. Koaura Living V1 does not sell personal data, uses no advertising pixels, and does not use cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. How We Collect Information
We collect information when you create or sign in to an account, use the website or apps, pair devices, manage a household, upload or transfer media, send routines to a TV, enable passive wellness reminders, start or join sessions, purchase or manage a subscription through Stripe, or contact support; and when our systems receive security, provider, webhook, platform, error, or reliability events. We may also receive information from service providers as needed to operate the Service, including Firebase Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Firebase Storage, Firebase Hosting, Stripe Checkout, Stripe Customer Portal, app-store platform services, Metered TURN, Apple, Google, and email/support providers.
7. Health-Adjacent Information / Consumer Health Data
Some wellness activity, such as participation in gentle movement routines, is health-adjacent. We treat it with care. Koaura Living is designed to minimize health data: we use coarse engagement signals, for example that a routine was started or completed, to operate features and time optional nudges, and we do not use this information to diagnose, treat, monitor, or infer any medical condition or health status, and we do not sell or share it for advertising.
We do not intend to collect "consumer health data" as defined by laws such as the Washington My Health My Data Act. If you are a resident of Washington, Nevada, Connecticut, or another state with a consumer-health-data law and believe we process such data about you, contact support@getkoaura.com to exercise applicable rights, including access, deletion, and withdrawal of consent.
8. Biometric Information
Koaura Living does not use facial recognition and does not collect, store, or use faceprints, voiceprints, retina or iris scans, or other biometric identifiers. Self View, Phone Live View, and Remote Helper relay live video and audio to connect approved devices in real time; this live video is not recorded by Koaura Living and is not used for biometric identification.
9. How We Use Information
We use information to: provide sign-in, account, household, subscription, support, and deletion features; pair and protect TV and mobile devices; deliver routines and family media to approved devices; enforce entitlements and quotas; process purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and subscription management; enable guided stretching, Self View, Phone Live View, and Remote Helper sessions; time optional wellness nudges; provide support; repair billing or entitlement issues; detect and reduce abuse and fraud; secure the Service; investigate failures; monitor reliability and cost; improve product quality using privacy-conscious aggregate signals; and meet legal, accounting, tax, security, and platform obligations. We do not use your wellness activity or family media for advertising or to train third-party AI models.
10. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information with service providers that help us operate the Service, under contracts limiting their use of the data: Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database, storage, hosting, functions, security, and logging; Stripe for checkout, subscription billing, invoices, customer portal, and payment records; Apple and Google for sign-in, app distribution, push notifications, and store/platform requirements; a TURN/WebRTC provider such as Metered for Remote Helper connectivity; and email/support providers. We may disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, reduce fraud or abuse, investigate security issues, enforce our Terms, or complete a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
11. Where Your Data Is Stored and Who Processes It
In plain terms: one company looks after your data. Koaura Living is one of several products made by AIvantage Consulting Inc. (including Koaura Solitaire and the Koaura Games discovery surface). As stated in Section 1, AIvantage Consulting Inc. is the single business and data controller for all of them — so wherever your information goes inside Koaura, it stays under the care of one company, accountable to you.
Why we keep two systems. Behind the scenes, we organize our backend into two systems: a Platform system for your account and billing, and a Product system for what you actually do in Koaura Living. Keeping these apart is a privacy safeguard — your payment and account records sit separately from your family photos, routines, and sessions, so each is handled only by the parts of Koaura that need it. This Platform and Product split is an internal technical arrangement, not separate companies and not separate data controllers. Your information remains under one controller, AIvantage Consulting Inc.
Where each kind of data lives. We run these two systems in two Google Cloud / Firebase projects:
| System | Google Cloud / Firebase project | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| Platform — your account and billing | koaura-platform-prod | Account and identity records, sign-in state, and your subscription, entitlement, and billing-reference records. These are shared across AIvantage Consulting Inc. products so you can use one account. |
| Product — Koaura Living itself | koaura-living-prod | What you do in Koaura Living: your household, paired devices, routines, sessions, and the family photos, videos, and content you upload, transfer, or send to an approved TV. |
Both projects are operated by AIvantage Consulting Inc. as the controller. Your information moves between the two systems only as far as is needed to run the Service — for example, to confirm you are signed in, to apply your household's subscription so the right features unlock, or to carry out an account-deletion request across both systems so nothing is left behind.
The service providers who help us store and run this. We rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers ("service providers," sometimes called sub-processors) to host and operate these systems for us, under contracts that limit how they may use your data. This list is consistent with Sections 6 and 10:
- Google LLC — Firebase and Google Cloud. Hosting, sign-in (Firebase Auth), background functions (Cloud Functions), file and media storage (Firebase Storage), the database (Firestore), and security and activity logging — for both the
koaura-platform-prodandkoaura-living-prodprojects. - Stripe, Inc. Subscription billing, checkout (Stripe Checkout), the billing portal where you manage your plan (Stripe Customer Portal), invoices, and payment records. As stated in Section 5, Stripe handles your payment-card details; we do not collect or store full payment-card numbers.
We may also rely on the other providers named in Sections 6 and 10 to run the Service, including Apple and Google for sign-in, app distribution, and platform requirements; a TURN/WebRTC provider such as Metered to connect Remote Helper calls; and email and support providers.
No data-transfer mechanism, processing-location guarantee, or sub-processor-change commitment is asserted in this section beyond the provider list above.
12. Household Visibility and Shared Devices
Koaura Living is designed for household use. Some information may be visible on a shared TV or to approved household devices, including routine names, family media, connection prompts, helper invitations, and device-pairing status. Only pair devices and share media with people and devices you trust. Household owners and approved participants may be able to view or affect shared household content.
13. Local Device Storage and Caching
TV and mobile apps may store data locally to make playback reliable and reduce repeated downloads, including routine videos, thumbnails, family media, session state, or cache metadata. Removing an account, unpairing a device, clearing the app, or using app cache controls may remove locally stored data, though behavior may vary by platform.
14. Cookies and Analytics
Our apps stay ad-free and tracking-free. The Koaura Living TV, mobile, and tvOS apps do not show advertising and do not track you. That promise is unchanged: in the apps there are no advertising pixels, no cross-context behavioral tracking, and no third-party analytics watching what you do.
On this website, we use cookies that are simply necessary to make it work — to keep you signed in, secure checkout, and protect account flows. These essential cookies always run because the site cannot function without them.
We also use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) on this website, and only on the website, to understand product usage and website traffic — for example, which pages visitors view and how they move through the site — so we can improve Koaura Living. GA4 is a Google analytics service that sets cookies and collects usage and traffic information about your visit. We use it for our own product and traffic analytics, not for advertising, and we do not use it to sell or share your information.
Where we track, we do it openly and only with your permission. GA4 and any other non-essential analytics cookies are opt-in. When you first visit the website you will see a consent banner; GA4 and other non-essential analytics do not run until you choose to accept. If you decline, we honor that choice and run only the essential cookies above. You can change your mind at any time and withdraw your consent through the consent banner or cookie controls on the site, or by contacting us at support@getkoaura.com; withdrawing consent stops further non-essential analytics from running going forward.
Security verification (not analytics). Separately from analytics, the website and the Koaura apps use Firebase App Check with Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise to help verify that requests come from a genuine Koaura client and not an automated abuser. Google processes limited device and interaction signals to provide that protection. This verification is essential to keeping the service secure; it is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking and does not depend on the analytics choice above.
A note on scope. This analytics applies to the website only. As stated above, the Koaura Living apps do not track you, so there is no analytics consent to manage inside the apps. As described in Section 1, AIvantage Consulting Inc. is the single business and data controller responsible for this website and the information described here.
15. Retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described, then delete or anonymize it, except where a longer period is required by law or for legitimate operational reasons. Proposed launch retention posture:
| Data category | Retention posture |
|---|---|
| Account and profile data | While the account is active; targeted for deletion/anonymization from active systems within 30 days of a verified deletion request, subject to legal/billing/fraud/security/provider/backup/household exceptions. |
| Device pairing tombstones | Limited period for operational safety and abuse reduction. |
| Routine activity, Send-to-TV records, entitlement ledgers | Retained for support, entitlement repair, quota-dispute handling, and billing reconciliation. |
| Ambient wellness event detail | Limited operational period only; aggregate metrics retained for reliability and planning. |
| Subscription, billing, invoice, dispute, fraud-review, tax records | Retained as required for billing, accounting, legal, security, and provider obligations, including records held by Stripe. |
| User media / family content | While needed to provide the feature or until deleted by you or support, subject to grace periods, backup expiry, and legal limits. |
| Support records | Retained to provide support and maintain audit history. |
| Security, webhook, error, and reliability logs | Retained for reliability, security, audit, and incident response. |
Backups and provider-held records may take longer to expire and are subject to provider retention and legal/accounting obligations.
16. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information we collect, access it, correct it, delete it, receive a copy through portability, opt out of sale/share, limit the use of sensitive personal information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, appeal a decision, or complain to a regulator.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). To the extent these laws apply, in the last 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers such as account IDs and email; commercial information such as subscription and purchase records; internet/network activity such as usage and device signals; audio/visual information such as family media and live-session video you choose to use; and inferences limited to product preferences. We collect this from you, your devices, and our service providers, for the business purposes described in Sections 9–10. We do not sell or share personal information and have not in the preceding 12 months. You have the rights to know, access, correct, delete, and limit use of sensitive personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising them. To exercise rights, email support@getkoaura.com or use the deletion page; we will verify your request, and you may use an authorized agent.
To submit a request, email support@getkoaura.com or use https://living.getkoaura.com/account/delete.
17. Account Deletion and Privacy Requests
You can request account deletion, user-media deletion, access help, correction, subscription support, or privacy help through the signed-in deletion page at https://living.getkoaura.com/account/delete or by contacting support@getkoaura.com. We plan to acknowledge verified deletion requests within 7 days and complete deletion or anonymization of active systems within 30 days, unless billing, tax, security, fraud-review, legal, provider, backup, or audit records, household-shared-data, or other obligations require retaining some information. If a household has more than one active member, support may need to preserve shared records, transfer ownership, or separate user-owned data instead of deleting the entire household immediately.
18. Children
Koaura Living is intended for adults and families and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Family media you upload may include images of children; you are responsible for having the right and any necessary consent to share it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact support@getkoaura.com and we will delete it.
19. Security
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect accounts, household records, support records, and service operations. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, private family media, or sensitive personal details through ordinary support email unless support provides a secure handling path.
20. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as Koaura Living changes. If changes are material, we will provide notice appropriate to the change, such as updating the effective date, posting a notice, or requiring renewed acknowledgment.
